The weather didn't dampen the spirits of those who attended Orillia Ribfest and Craft Beer Festival over the weekend.
The fourth year of the event wrapped up Sunday at Tudhope Park.
Operators from Louisiana, New York, Kentucky, and British Columbia were there to cook up mouth-watering ribs for patrons.
There were also a number of craft brewers and other vendors plus plenty of games for the kids, and an axe throwing display for the adults.
Louisiana ribber Tex Robert, Junior — better known as the Granddaddy of ribbin' — says it was sad to see rain the come down on Saturday.
But he says people still came out go get ribs and that is why he loves coming to Orillia.
Robert says he and the organizers are thanking the people of Orillia for coming out to the ribfest and craft beer festival.
He says if it wasn't for those coming out to support the event, it wouldn't be as successful.
