A man police were seeking in connection with numerous crimes in cottage country is facing charges.
OPP say 33 year old Ian Johnston was arrested in the Hamilton-area.
A suspect driving a pickup truck was spotted on Highway 11 in the Huntsville area on Monday and the vehicle was later found burned in Parry Sound.
Johnston faces multiple charges including fleeing police, break and enter, thefts, arsons, thefts of vehicles and weapons offences.
Police say the alleged crime spree took place in Muskoka, Parry Sound, Orillia, South Simcoe, Caledon and the Hamilton-Niagara region.
A firearm officers thought the suspect had with him turned out to be a replica gun.
