You may get a notice from your utility company advising you that if you get your bill in the mail, there could be a hold on it next month.
Hydro One is informing customers of a possible mail service disruption by Canada Post in September.
Canada Post says they are currently in the conciliation phase of negotiations for a new collective agreement with their unionized members, and no work disruption can happen while this process is ongoing.
Right now both the union and the corporation bargaining teams are at a hotel working with a conciliator to reach a deal.
Canada Post says they're committed to finding a resolution and do not want a work disruption.
The earliest a legal work disruption could occur is September 25th, but it doesn't mean there will be a strike.
Those who get bills through email are not affected.
