The bang was so loud it caused people to run outside their homes.
A car plowed into a vehicle parked on a south end Barrie street early Wednesday, sending it 20 metres up the street.
Witnesses spotted the car with obvious damage but the car drove off, with two people inside.
A person watched as the vehicle drove around the corner and pulled into a nearby driveway.
Police arrived at the house and arrested the 31 year old driver, who they say had never been licensed.
The Barrie man has several charges to deal with.
