Ontario's Special Investigations Unit is terminating their investigation into a crash in Bracebridge involving a stolen vehicle.
OPP were tracking down a stolen vehicle on Highway 11 back on May 26th when the vehicle crashed.
The driver then fled the scene into a wooded area and fell from a cliff.
Officers located the driver who sustained a right ankle injury and was taken to hospital for treatment.
The SIU says they have concluded that the injury was sustained during the fall and not through police interaction.
The driver — a 43-year-old man — is facing charges.
