Two acute hospitals.
That was the recommendation from a task force to the Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare board last night.
The chair of the task force said this model for service delivery was felt to provide the best patient and family-centred care.
The task force spent a year looking at three options: one site, two acute sites and one inpatient/outpatient site with er's.
The board will review the recommendation and announce its decision tomorrow(FRIDAY).
