Some brewers including Muskoka Brewery are throwing cold water on Premier Doug Ford's buck-a-beer bonanza.
The Premier announced yesterday that the cost of a bottle or can of beer will drop 25 cents on August 27, ahead of the Labour Day weekend.
Brewers don't have to go along with the idea, and many craft operators fear the plan would hurt their business by lowering prices.
In a tweet, Muskoka Brewery said it wouldn't change its prices, saying “we will continue to offer fair prices that allow the living wage to our team and maintain fresh quality brews.”
