When it rains, it pours, and that was the case in parts of the region on Monday, but anything resembling a soaking was spotty at best.
So, a fire ban remains in effect throughout most of Simcoe County, except Clearview, Wasaga Beach and Collingwood where the fire danger rating is high.
In the cities of Orillia and Barrie, the fire danger rating is still high.
In Muskoka, the fire ban has not been lifted.
