Orillia Secondary School opened in March 2016 when students walked together from their school on Borland Street to their new building, and now the public will finally get a chance to see what all the excitement was about.
There is a grand opening celebration today, with a formal ceremony at 1 p.m., followed by an open house from 2:45 to 6 p.m.
There will be tours of the school as well as displays of student work.
The secondary school replaced Park Street Collegiate and Orillia District Collegiate and Vocational Institute.
