Orillia OPP have now laid charges against a 35 year old city man in connection with a robbery outside of the downtown Bank of Montreal branch.
On Wednesday morning, police advised that a man had stolen a bag of money from a customer that had just left the bank.
Officers flooded the area and arrested a man not far from the scene.
The bag containing the money was recovered.
35 year old Shane McMeekin has been charged with Robbery, Fail to Comply with Probation Order x 2 and Breach of a Court Order.
He was held in custody.
