The Toronto Blue Ice Jets giving the Rama Aces a big lump of coal for Christmas.
The Aces fell flat Friday night in their final game of 2013 as Nikolai Borschevsky and Ryan Devine each scored twice and added an assist to lead the Blue Ice Jets to a 6-2 win in the Greater Metro Junior A Hockey League.
Toronto opened with two goals 36 seconds apart for a 2-0 first period lead.
Rama would come back with a goal of their own in the second period to cut the lead to 2-1 but never really got as close after that.
Ivan Volkov and Jacob Kamps rounded out the scoring for the Blue Ice Jets (22-7-0-1).
Derek Hartwick and Josh Wilson replied for the Aces (15-11-0-1).
Spyros Koskinas made 40 saves for Toronto while Tye Greschuk stopped 36 shots for Rama.
The Aces are off until Friday January 3rd when they host the Bradford Bulls.
