Collingwood OPP are investigating a collision involving a pedestrian and a motor vehicle that occured just after midnight. Officers were dispatched to the location of Grey Road 19 and Sleepy Hollow Road in Blue Mountain and found that 4 youths were walking on the road when they inadvertently walked into the path of an oncoming vehicle.
One of the pedestrian was struck and the 17-year old female from Barrie was taken to Collingwood Hospital and then transferred to St. Mike’s in Toronto, with serious head injuries.
The status of her condition is not know at this point and no charges have been laid.
