The snow we’ve had the last two days has a lot of people itching to get on their snowmobiles.
But not so fast.
The Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs (OFSC), says the snow is not yet enough to open any of the 700 kilometres of sled trails in the region.
Ron Wheadon grooming manager with the O-F-S-C says the groomers need a full foot of snow to pack in holes and ditches before they can open the trails.
More than 6,000 people are registered to take their snowmobiles on the trails in the Mid-Ontario area.
