There is another chance to help Orillia’s Sharing Place Food bank.
Once again the Kraft Food for Families Program is asking people to go on line and vote for their favourite food bank, and during the next 10 weeks, the food bank with the most votes each week, will get one thousand dollars.
Sharing Place Food Bank spokesman Don Evans says food banks can only win this prize once, so the odds of Orillia’s food bank picking up a cheque for one thousand dollars are very good.
Each week, the totals will be reset at zero, so there will be lots of opportunity for supporters of The Sharing Place to rally around the Orillia food bank. You can add your name daily during each weekly voting period.
A total of $1,767 was raised by The Sharing Place supporters through the first phase of Kraft Food for Families, which concluded on November 15.
