The rain we’re getting today has prompted a flood advisory from the Lake Simcoe Conservation Authority.
The Conservation Authority says the ground is saturated in the area around Lake Simcoe, which will cause flooding in low lying areas, although widespread flooding is not expected.
The Authority says to keep your kids and your pets away from creeks and streams, which will be running faster and fuller than usual.
There’s been no warning or advisory from the Nottawasaga Valley Conservation Authority.
