The finishing touches are being put on the City of Orillia’s new website.
Economic Development Manager Dan Landry says they have been working on improving the web site for the past year and expect to have a soft launch later this month.
He says the official launch will take place early in the new year.
Landry says the new website will be a vast improvement over the existing city Internet portal and will allow people a greater dialogue with the city and also employ social media as well.
He says there also is a tourism aspect to the new web site and a business directory also will be part of the new and improved city website.
