There was an armed robbery at the Pita Pit on Missisaga Street East this morning at approximately 1:30 and OPP are asking anyone with information to contact them.
A female employee of The Pita Pit was at the rear of the shop when she was approached by 2 men wearing bandanas. They forced her back into the store, to the cash drawer at the front part of the store. The employee opened the drawer and approximately $500 was taken.
One of the robbers held a knife to the employees throat as she was retrieving the money. The robbers then fled on foot through the rear door of the business.
Both men are as approximately 56 wearing blue hoodies or sweaters, and with one possibly wearing a red bandana.
