The future of Moonstone Elementary School on the line as the First Hearing of the Accomidation Review Committee takes place Thursday evening at the school.
This is a chance for members of the Moonstone community to show their support for keeping the school open.
Several people will be making presentations to the committee including Simcoe North MPP Garfield Dunlop who says this rural school is the heart of that community. Oro Medonte Mayor Harry Hughes also will be making a presentation to the committe. He says its importaht that schools like Moonstone Elementary remain open to preserve the rural lifestyle of the Township.
