A court date is set for today for the young men from Innisfil charged with murder in the death of a man from Collingwood, who died at a mini putt range in Barrie over the summer.
18 and 19 year old Matthew and Justin Spring and their friend Jake Workman face second degree murder charges.
But the Barrie Examiner reports today, the charges might be reduced to manslaughter or criminal negligence causing death.
42 year old Bradley Hubbard died August 13th. He had been at the Putting Edge in the south end of Barrie when he into an
altercation with the boys. He bled to death after an injury to his neck. His relatives say he was stabbed through the neck with a broken golf club.
