Orillia’s brand new Habitat for Humanity ReStore will officially open it’s doors this weekend.
The ReStore is a non-profit retail home renovation and building centre.
Manager Ivan McArthur says the ReStore plays a big part in the overall work of Habitat for Humanity – as all money taken in goes to Habitat and it’s programs.
McArthur says the home building supplies are accepted at the ReStore – however it is a good idea to call ahead if you are planning on donating any large or otherwise unusual items.
He adds the ReStore is not simply a free landfill – they only accept quality items that are still usable.
The grand opening goes this Saturday (Oct 15) at 1 o’clock at 3835 Campbell Road.
