A murder that occurred in Orillia in June of 2010 has been cracked by Orillia OPP and the OPP’s Criminal Investigation Branch.
Opp Constable Peter Leon says they now have made an arrest in connection with the killing of 58-year old Gord Evans .
He was found murdered in his Andrew Street home by a neighbour who had been checking on his well-being.
As a result of the ongoing investigation, Detectives from the Orillia Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Crime Unit, under the direction of Detective Inspector Chris Gilpin of the OPPs Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) have made an arrest in this homicide.
Earlier today, 43-year old Faye Higgins of Coldwater, was arrested without incident and has been charged with First Degree Murder in the death of Gord Evans
