Orillia OPP are looking into the theft of a large quantity of copper wire in Severn Township.
Sometime between 5 PM Sunday afternoon (sept 25) and early Monday morning (sept 26) theives broke into Walker Aggregate Quarry on Nichols Line.
Along with the 42 hundred feet of copper wire, the theives also made off with a trailer.
The trailer is black in colour and has a triangle with the name “Austin Powder” and “Maple Leaf Drilling” on it – the licence plate on the trailer is J3899D.
Anyone with information on this theft is asked to call the Orillia OPP or Crime Stoppers.
