The Simcoe Muskoka YMCA looking for some people who are working to make this a more peaceful world.
The Y is now accepting nominations for the annual Peace Medallion Award.
Cat O Connor is the Manager of International Education & Program Development for the Y and says anyone involved in making this a better community or world can be nominated.
O Connor says over the years they have given this award to a variety of organizations and individuals.
O Connor says community leaders and past peace medallion award winners will be the judges who chose this years winner.
The deadline for submitting a nomination is the end of the month.
