The Simcoe County District School Board getting a 34 thousand dollar grant from the Ministry of Education.
The money will be used to connect with parents through a wide range of workshops, activities and programs designed to enhance student success and further engage parents in their childs education.
In this area the schools getting some of the grant money include , Ardtrea/Cumberland Beach Public School, Brechin Public School,Couchiching Heights Public School,Harriett Todd Public School and Twin Lakes Secondary School.
Paul Sloan, Superintendent of Education says these PRO Grants give parents the opportunity to get further involved with their childs educational experience
