There will be a lot of big wheels at Orillias CouchichingĀ beach park Saturday when the Canadian Paraplegic Association holds its annual Wheelchair relay race.
Teams of five will race around the park to help raise funds and awareness of some of the mobility issues people in wheelchairs have to deal with on a daily basis.
Jennifer Berry is with the CPA andĀ says both people confined to wheelchairs and able bodied people will be taking part.
Thyme Thompson is taking part and is in a wheel chair following an ATV accident.
She says this relay is to show people what it is like to get around in a chair.
Teams of five people will take turns going around the course at Couchiching Beach park to raise money for spinal cord research.
