The race to win the Provincial election is now officially underway and in Simcoe North four people are seeking to represent this area at Queens park after October 6th.
For the voters in the riding there are numerous opportunities to meet the candidates and find out about their parties platforms.
there will be several all candidates meetings in the riding.
An all-candidates meeting hosted at the Lagoon City Community Centre, Saturday, Sept. 10 at 2 p.m. will give voters their first opportunity to have their issues heard by those running for office.
Poverty up for debate on Monday, Sept. 12 at St. Paul’s United Church at 7 p.m. when potential MPP’s will be asked what their plan is to address the issues affecting the most vulnerable populations in Ontario.
The Orillia chamber of commerce will be hosting a free-form meeting in the city council chambers, with the public welcome to attend and ask questions on any relevant issues.
That meeting takes place on Thursday, Sept. 29 at 7 p.m.
Focusing on land, water and environmental issues, AWARE Simcoe has arranged a debate Sunday, Oct. 2, at 1 p.m. at Lakehead University Orillia campus.
