Georgian College officials offering advice for students heading back to class today on dealing with the strike by support workers.
College officials reminding all students, staff and visitors to be patient and careful crossing the picket lines.
Georgian College campuses including the Orillia campus remain open and orientation events and classes will start as scheduled.
People arriving on campus may experience delays in crossing the picket line.
In a news release, the college says the safety of everyone is the first priority.
Picketing is a legal activity and the strikers may delay access while they share information.
Staff and students should plan to arrive early to allow for delays and reach their scheduled orientation or classroom activities on time.
If at all possible, they are encouraged to walk, take public transit or carpool to reach campus.
Students wanting information on picket line protocol, or the latest information on the strike, should visit the College website
