Time is running out if you want to try and get your favourite pets picture on the 2012 Orillia SPCA pet calendar.
SPCA Director TomĀ Molloy says they have extended the deadline to Sept. 8th for people to sent in pictures to be considered to be the pet of the month.
Molloy says pets that don’t make it to the main page, will be featured in smaller pictures that will border the main monthly pet picture.
He says it costs 10 dollars to have your pets picture included on the calendar, but all that money is used to help support the work the Society does protecting animals in the Orillia area.
Molloy also says its not just cats and dogs that can be featured on the calendar, but horses, cows even pigs.
In addition an in memoriam page will feature pictures of family pets that have gone to the bit kennel in the sky.
