Simcoe North Conservative MP Bruce Stanton says the death of Jack Layton is a huge loss not only to his family, but the Country as well.
Stanton says Layton was a man of honour who cared very deeply about Canada.

He says Layton was an exceptional man and politician who was concerned about Canada and the well being of Canadians.
Stanton says Layton was a very personable individual who never let politics get in the way of being a good person.
He says Layton will be missed by many many Canadians and will certainly be missed in Parliament.
