More promises are being made in the run up to this falls Provincial election.
Simcoe North Conservative MPP Garfield DunlopĀ was at the grand opening of a state of the art dairy farm and milk processing facility in Creemore Wednesday morning.
Dunlop has been working with farmer John Miller to develop this farm gate milk facility.
Dunlop says the Simcoe County facility will process the milk and sell it on site.
He says continued support from him and the conservatives is something that Simcoe County farmers can expect if the Tories win this falls election.
Dunlop says the conservative party has a strong history of supporting the rural community, especially in Simcoe North.
Dunlop defending plans by the Conservatives to scrap the Green energy act.
He says contrary to what the Liberals say, getting rid of the controversial legislation will improve the investment climate in Ontario, rather than scare away investors.
Dunlop also says he believes he has done an excellent job of representing this riding at Queens Park, and the voters will remember that on election day, October 6th.
