As the summer winds down, the Provincial Election campaign is picking up steam.
The campaign is set to begin on Sept 6th for the October 6th vote, and the Green Party Candidate for Simcoe North is trying to get the message out that they are more than a single issue party.
Peter Stubbins says they are trying to tell people the Greens are not at all like the traditional parties involved in Ontario Politics.
He says they are not interested in left or right wing politics, only arriving at solutions to some of the problems and issues facing Ontario.
Stubbins says job creation is the number one issue facing Simcoe North in the election campaign, and he feels the Green party feels once the budget is balanced, they more and more companies will be willing to create more jobs in this region.
He says the creation of more community health teams also will help attract more family physicians to Simcoe North.
Stubbins also says the Province and not municipalities should be covering the cost of building these community health clinics.
