Bones discovered near Wasaga Beach are not Human.
On August 5th at approximately 12:00 p.m., members of the Huronia West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police responded to a report that bones were located in Nottawasaga Bay in New Wasaga Beach.
A Police investigation revealed that area cottagers located 3 bones in the Nottawasaga Bay, brought them to shore and then called OPP.
Police have determined with aid of the local Coroner that the 3 bones located are “NOT HUMAN”.
