Two pedestrians were killed this morning on the 400 southbound just north of Barrie around 6 this morning.
The incident happened near Moonstone Road, where it appears a transport truck had been broken down on the side of the road and was being hooked up for a tow. The two people were hit by another transport truck and are believed to be occupants from the broken down rig.
All lanes are closed on the 400 north and southbound between Moonstone Road and Mount St. Louis Road while police investigate. And looks like it might remained closed until about noon.
