The call is out for aspiring and established artists in Simcoe County who are looking to effectively market their work.
The Simcoe Artists Community Hub has been launched to assist local artists who are searching for an affordable means to promote themselves – in this case, the service is free of charge.
The hub also serves as an online meeting place where artists and art lovers alike can communicate with each other.
Web Developer Robert Kennedy says he and partner Isaac Martens have created this project as they have identified a need for this type of service in and around Orillia.
Martens says the hub allows artists to not only post their art – but also the story behind it, which he believes is more effective marketing.
