A 62 year old Orillia man has been arrested in Ohio and is now facing charges of attempted murder and assault with a weapon.
This all came about after a call to Orillia OPP on May 30 regarding a domestic disturbance at a home in the southeast part of the city.
A female victim was then taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The male suspect fled the area and was later arrested in the US.
The accused man is now awaiting extradition from the U.S. back to Canada.
