Lots of smiles at the Orillia Soldiers Memorial Hospital Foundation offices today.
Thats because of the huge success of Wednesday Hawkridge hospital foundation golf tournament.
Executive Director of the foundation, Nicole McCahon says the 12 th annual golf tournament raised more thanĀ 150 thousand dollars which pushed them over the top of their goal of raising more than 1.5 million dollars for the Hospitals Capital campaign.
She says this money will help the Hospital purchase new Diagnostic Imaging equipment which will make a big difference in the level of care patients receive at Soldiers Memorial Hospital.
McCahon says the weather co operated and the event was a total success in every sense of the word.
