Simcoe North MPP Garfield Dunlop not upset with the fact the Legislature shut down one day early.
He says with all the bickering back and forth nothing was being accomplished.
Dunlop says this has been done a number of times in the past and before the last election the Liberals shut down the Legislature several week early.
He says leaving a day early really is not the end of the world.
As for the Premier taking shots at the credibility of Conservative Leader Tim Hudak, Dunlop says its obvious that Dalton McGuinty is not looking forward to the fall election..
With the legislature not adjourned, MPP’s won’t be back now until after the October election.
Dunlop says when he begins his campaign it will be quite civil.
Meanwhile, Friday marks the 12 anniversary of Dunlop being elected as an MPP and he will be celebrating by holding his 12 annual golf tournament.
He says the time has really gone fast and the reality is there is just so much to do all the time.
