The power is back on for more than 500 customers in the West Shore area. Yesterday afternoon a single-vehicle collision afternoon on Highway 11 sent three people to hospital and knocked out power, according to the Orillia Packet & Times.
Severn Fire Chief Eric Dowell said a southbound car hit a hydro pole near Ego Sideroad at about 4 p.m., damaging the pole and forcing the closure of all lanes as a safety precaution.
The three occupants of the car were taken to Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.
