A Canadian woman killed in England has ties to our area.
34-year old Angela Hoyt was found dead in her home on Tuesday night. She had apparently been strangled. Hoyt worked for the Canadian Red Cross.
She went to high school in Barrie and her parents still live there.
Police are looking for Hoyt’s British ex-boyfriend, Martin Collett who is suspected of the murder.
