A huge weekend for former students at Park St. Collegiate Institute here in Orillia.
The school is hosting a 50 th anniversary weekend Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Dave Graham is a Park St. Teacher and one of the many people putting this gala together.
He says not only former students will be returning to Orillia, but former teachers and staff as well will be making the trek to take part in the anniversary events.
Graham says people are coming back to Orillia from as far away as BC, Texas and in one case a former student is returning from Japan.
He says Friday will see registration and 6 restaurants will be holding get to gether dinner events.
Graham says on Saturday there will be a pancake breakfast served up by form principals and vice principals.
There will be two boat cruises in the afternoon aboard the Island Princess then a big party and dance at ODAS Park Saturday night.
Graham says people can still register on line at www.psci50.com or do so in person Friday afternoon at the school.
