Conservative Bruce Stanton has taken his seat back for a third term here in Simcoe North.
Last night in front of a packed crowd at the Bonair Golf Course in Coldwater Stanton thanked everyone who voted for him, and to those who didn’t, he vowed to be there as a sounding board.
Stanton says having a majority government is going to be a delight, adding it means a good 4 year term where they can invest in the kind of things that will keep the national economy strong and growing.
The newly re-elected Stanton say’s having the NDP’s as the official opposition will certainly change things.
Stanton is right back into work, he suspects parliament will be back in Ottawa within the next couple of weeks getting a throne speech and budget prepared.
Tune in to Sunshine 89.1’s news show, Twin Lakes Today starting at noon today, as Bruce Stanton will be joining us live in the studios to speak more about his upcoming term and will be giving us his reaction to yesterday’s election results.
