An early morning fire at the Sundial Inn is being considered suspicious at this time.
Fire Chief Ralph Dominelli told Sunshine 89.1 this morning that the Fire Marshall’s office has been called and the OPP are now involved.
The blaze, which started around 1230, has destroyed the entire south wing of the historic landmark.
Dominelli says there were actually two main areas the fire started in, but crews have yet to get inside the building to conduct a thorough search.
The old inn, which had previously been ordered demolished, is fully furnished, which Chief Dominelli says provided fuel for the fire.
Sundial Rd in that area is closed until further notice.
