There are no apologies from the provincial government after a report found the province passed a vague law in secret to give police extra powers during the G-20 summit last June.
And Community Safety Minister Jim Bradley says there will be no public inquiry into police actions during the G-20 in Toronto.
Former chief justice Roy McMurtry says the secret G-20 law passed by the Liberal government was vague and used for purposes beyond its intent.
More than 11-hundred people were arrested by the 20-thousand police who patrolled Toronto during the G-20 weekend.
That has raised the ire of Simcoe North MPP and Community Safety Critic Garfield Dunlop who insists the Province should apologize for its actions.
He calls Jim Bradley s response to this appalling.
Dunlop says this is the second report to slap the government on the wrist for its action and also calls for an apology.
He says if they don’t have the courage and guts to apologize, then that probably will be something else that could lead to their defeat in the fall election.
