Rain and strong winds are to blame for a poor start to the 30th annual Orillia Perch Festival.
The Festival officially kicked off Friday night at Tudhope Park, but yesterday was the first day anglers hit the water.
It wasn’t the best start though, as rough conditions kept many off the lakes.
The tournament continues through until May 7th, with weather conditions looking up as the week goes on.
Don’t forget to keep you eye out for that Sunshine 89.1 Perch, tagged at $500.
