A scary situation for two Orillia OPP officers on Friday evening.
Officers attended an address on Barrie Road near Memorial Avenue to arrest a wanted party.
Upon arrival the male was located and arrested without incident.
However, while still in the premises the officers were attacked by another male also on scene in the same residence.
A struggle ensued and officers were injured.
Both officers received minor injuries.
One went to the hospital where he was treated and released.
As a result, 49 year old Brian Aubrey Quinn of Orillia is facing Charges of Obstruct Police, Assault Police and Assault Peace Officer with a Weapon
He will be appearing in an Orillia Court in May to answer to the charges
