The big names just keep on coming as far as this years Mariposa folk festival is concerned.
Earlier this week, the Festival announced 7 more artists who will grace the stage on the weekend of July 8 th to the 10.
Festival Artistic Director Mike Hill says there is one big name that everyone will recognize.
Hill says the the Sunday night performer will be Peter Yarrow of Peter Paul and Mary fame.
He says Yarrow has been a folk music future since the 1960 s.
Other artists include, Garnet Rogers.Ron Hynes and Marrie lynn Hammond.
Hill says he is impressed with the songwriting talent that is being developed in Canada and locally
This years Mariposa Folk Festival takes place in Tudhope Park in Orillia on the weekend of July 8 th to the 10th.
