Georgian College is bursting at the seams as full time post secondary enrolment has grown by 10 per cent compared to a year ago at this time.
The latest audited enrolment numbers show a 9.6 per cent increase in the student population from March 2010 to March 2011.
The increase in international students was even higher at 13.5 per cent over last year.
Added together, the college-wide enrolment figure of 9,037, plus 445 international students and the number of students in apprenticeships and upgrading programs, and those away this month on work terms, translates into well over 10,000 students at Georgians seven campuses
The number of new students who have confirmed their intention to start at Georgian in September is up 16.3 per cent over March of last year.
From 2000 to 2010, enrolment at Georgian increased 68.5 per cent.
