Its time to tune up your funny bone, because we are just a few weeks away from the announcement of this years five finalists for the The Stephen Leacock Annual Award for Humour.
The announcement takes place at the Stephen Leacock Museum on Friday April 1st at 10:30 AM.
This National Award has been presented to a Canadian author since 1947 and is awarded annually to the author whose book is judged to be the most humorous one written in the previous year.
Last years winner was Will Ferguson for Beyond Belfast, his hilarious account of walking around Northern Ireland.
The successful author is chosen from 70 entries and will be announced at a special Luncheon to be held at The Mariposa Inn and Convention Centre on Thursday April 28th at 11:30 AM.
