Close to 10,000 residents from Wasaga Beach to Coldwater are currently without power.
According to Hydro One’s website the outage runs from Bass Lake almost to Vasey Rd up HWY 11, and from just north of Midhurst up the hwy 400 extenstion past Moonstone and then east just about to Wasaga.
Reports say it could be out until about 5pm.
Hydro One crews are on site working hard to restore power now.
They say the cause is unknown.
