The investgation into a house fire in Orillia early Saturday morning continues.
The blaze on James street completly destroyed the two story building, and has left three people homeless with only the clothes on their backs.
Orillia Fire Chief Ralph Dominelli says they have narrowed the point of origin of the fire to the living room area of the house.
He says fire investigators were back on the scene yesterday searching for more clues as to what may have sparked the blaze.
The damage estimate is in excess of 200 thosuand dollars.
Chief Dominelli says working smoke alarms allowed the residents to escape the burning home.
He says the Volunteer Crisis Responders were quickly on the scene Saturday morning to help the victims with extra clothing and food vouchers.
In addition, he says they have a program with Casino Rama to help out victims of fire by putting forward some funds to help them get back up on their feet once again.
Chief Dominelli says the victims also have had many offers of help from their co workers and friends to help them through this tough period.
The fire chief says this is a perfect example why people should have smoke alarms in their homes and check them once a month to ensure they are in good working order.
